Applying the Sobel filter for tectonic zonnig by the example of jurassic sediments in one fields of Slavneft-Megionneftegas JSC

Abstract

IThere are some of standard search techniques for edge detection on seismic data, but most of them doesn't have enough accuracy. At one of the fields of Slavneft-Megionneftegas JSC standard techniques not allowed to create an accurate tectonic model, were required to connect additional analysis tools to improve the accuracy of prediction of different levels of oil-water contact. One solution was the use of the Sobel filter.
