Abstract
Estimation of oil saturation transition zones is an important task when building a geological and hydrodynamic models of deposits. The main purpose of this article is to systematize the practical aspects of modeling of transition zones with respect to the significant determining factors which helps to adapt the resulting model to a specific oil reservoir.
