Abstract

Well productivity directly influences on efficiency of oil and gas fields. Nowadays the diagnosing of permeability reduction in near wellbore zone is still a topical issue. In addition to the effects of scale deposition, an important role in permeability reduction is played by deformation of porous media during the reservoir pressure changing. Nevertheless, the complex of core tests does not directly determine the effect of compressibility on the permeability. In this paper all core test’s results were collected and analyzed to estimate the effect of well operation conditions on production index. Measures for reducing of risks associated with geomechanical processes in the near wellbore zone are proposed.
