GEOLOGY AND EXPLORATION

12-18 102
Abstract

The article considers the supposes of generation the "abnormal" section of the Bazhenov formation (ASB) and extended ideas about the formation of such objects on the territory of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO), in particular the Noybr’skiy region. As a result of comprehensive analysis of the available material, mapped development of ASB, made an assessment of their resource potential and substantiation of the genesis of a specified geological objects.

Abstract

A standard data interpretation approach of well log survey for Kolgan terrigenous formation allows significant uncertainties on permeability-porosity forecasting to appear. Thus, the rock physics model and rock type definition should be corrected.

DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF OIL FIELDS

25-30 145
Abstract

The work refers to construction a mathematical model of the flow of oil and gas fluids to the multifractured in fractured low-permeability formations. Series of numerical experiments were done based on the proposed model. The obtained results allowed to identify the flow regimes characterizing properties of the fractured reservoir. The developed model can be used to well testing in fractured reservoirs.

Abstract

At the present time the main part of oil fields is mature production fields. They are characterized by low current oil production. The questions about immovable oil location and cause identifications of target fail of cumulative oil production become important In our work we suggested to use complex approach to verification of remaining recoverable reserves and carry out actions for validation of current oil saturation. This analysis will allow to develop depleted resources, to reduce the risk and increase effect iveness of geological and technical actions.

Abstract

The use of IT technologies to prepare well intervention programs allowed us to automate the initial well selection processes and make the overall work flow efficient and informative with all the work being done in real time through a web resource. The novelty of this project is that the well intervention algorithms and criteria are integrated in the Podbor GTM digital information system as they are developed. The Podbor GTM system designed on a web resource basis allows users to work online. Thanks to this, the well intervention development process is arranged at a much higher quality level: all calculations are made, information is exchanged and the well intervention decision-making history is stored in a single IT system. The new level of digital asset development capabilities reached through the implementation of the Podbor GTM system increases the efficiency of well intervention operations at the pilot project which is Priobskoye field (South License Area). In 2016, 100 hydrofracs were performed in excess of the business plan which ensured 131 mt of additional production (+54% to the plan). A new historical record was set, which is the involvement of 11% of the existing wells in hydrofrac operations. It is one of the important factors ensuring the effective production of hydrocarbon reserves and allowing us to operate our wells in view of potential geological conditions and technological capabilities. The estimated economic effect from these additional well interventions is: NPV RUB 1,415,158,000; PI – 2.7.

Abstract

This paper presents complied information on sources of carbon dioxide for enhanced oil recovery projects. Specific properties and limitation of source influence on the efficiency of carbon dioxide capture or production. Natural sources in Russia are insufficient for large-scale realization of EOR project, but there are huge volumes of gaseous emissions from different industrial plant.

OFFSHORE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The shelf of the East Siberian Sea is currently in the regional exploration stage. Its eastern part remains the least explored by seismic studies. Knowledge about the region’s geology was largely shaped by the results produced by geological surveying of the islands and the adjoining mainland as well as gravity and magnetic data interpretation. Tectonic zonation of the Eastern Arctic region is discussed in a limited number of scientific papers. Some papers encompass the entire region, while others focus on its individual areas. Most existing tectonic models rest upon a morphological approach to identifying the key structural elements. Some models are supplemented by characteristics related to the inferred age of the basement. Geoscientists at LLL Gazpromneft Science and Technology Centre have accomplished tectonic zonation of the East Siberian and Chukchi Sea shelf by drawing on the combined evidence from G&G data (marine seismic and airborne gravity and magnetic prospecting, geological surveying of the islands). The studies were conducted with the purpose of identifying prospects and assessing their hydrocarbon potential within the North Wrangel licence block (NWLB).

Abstract

Article contains the description of simulation model of the marine transport and technology system (MTTS) of the Prirazlomnaya platform. Model allowed studying alternative solutions to increase the efficiency and functional stability of MTTS under the influence of a large number of full-size factors. Results of the simulation formed the basis for taking managerial solutions and amending process control documents.

ENERGY SUPPLY

Abstract

Gazpromneft NTC engineers consider various options of power supply sources in terms of both technical feasibility and cost efficiency of option implementation. This article describes different application niche of solar-wind power plant as an alternative power source for the Gazpromneft petroleum facilities.

Abstract

The article is devoted to a joint survey of the quality of estimate documentation and its impact on the construction cost at all stages of the implementation of major projects in the field of exploration and production. The stages of the project life cycle are indicated; the elements of construction cost are described. The risk analysis in the absence of quality the estimate documentation has been performed, basic considerations have been formed for quality of the estimate. A practical experience of the expertise of construction and estimate documentationby the Office of the Departmental expertise of OOO Gazpromneft NTC is summarized in the most capital intensive projects to development oil and gas fields of the Gazprom Neft Group.
