Аннотация

The J11 trap is considered an anticline trap bounded by OWC, but oil water contact was not penetrated by wells within the oil field. Consequently, the structural factor and the OWC level are not the major factors for planning appraisal drilling. After through data analysis lithological trap concept is considered. In this case the main problem is precise characterization of net pay. Within studied area J11 formation is characterized by strong heterogeneity and lateral properties anisotropy such as porosity, permeability, saturation and net pay. Previous seismic data interpretation results shows low quality net pay prediction based on dynamic seismic attributes. It poses significant risk when planning exploration and appraisal drilling and consequently incorrect reserves potential estimation. The work uses comprehensive method to improve net pay prediction, including kinematic analysis and frequency analysis of seismic data. The method is based on linear regression between gross and net pay of J11 formation generated from well data (the correlation coefficient equal to 0,7).Improvement of net pay prognosis is obtained by coupling structural interpretation and spectral decomposition by means of multiple linear regression. Application of the regression permits to get significant correlation coefficient equal to 0,75 between prognosis and observed net pay. The final net pay prognosis map of J11 formation takes into account all risks and uncertainties and could be used for J11 formation prospective assessment and planning of exploration and appraisal drilling within Zapadno-Luginetskaya area. This investigation is defines the main features of good and bad reservoir areas. The areas are mapped. Finally, potential of the J11 formation within Zapadno-Luginetskaya area is assessed with new geological concept and net pay prognosis. The relative reserves gain is 270%.
