Abstract

The results of seismic survey and data processing of folded zone Zagros considered as pattern of acquiring data in high folded structure area. It is recommend to perform seismic survey using the 3D technique instead of conventional 2D in difficult seismic and geological conditions such as Zagros folded zones. Ray tracing modeling technology should be used in order to select parameters of seismic acquisition system that will allow to choose optimal parameters for the geological problems solution in specific geological conditions. Advantages of applying summation technology for the first Fresnel zone showed in a comparison with traditional approaches.

Abstract

Existing approaches to drilling wells in homogeneous reservoirs implies a common strategy based on more not from Geology, but primarily from technological factors. However, these «easy» deposits are already at a late stage of development, and many of them have already passed this stage. In this regard, all the more difficult deposits are put into operation, the development of which previously was not possible. One of these is the Eastern-Messoyakhskoye field and its main object of the development (PK13 layer), continental Genesis of sediments, which implies a large number of heterogeneities and uncertainties. Continental sediments are some of the most complex geological objects from the development point of view. Reserve recovery is largely determined by the efficiency of drilling and the selected concept of horizontal wells. The lack of reliable trends within the Eastern-Messoyakhskoye field to predict the reservoir distribution with a high degree of heterogeneity, lateral and vertical, as well as the nature of saturation, requires a constant response to data that can significantly change concept about the architecture of the reservoir. In this regard, the presence of dynamic drilling strategy is an integral part of a successful process of geological monitoring. The article describes the role of the account the lateral heterogeneity of the continental deposits, updating of the strategy of drilling and prediction of the occurrence of the formation. The aim of this work is .to describe approaches for the selection of the most optimal arrangement of wells in the planning of drilling, taking into account the constantly updated geological information about the reservoir.

Abstract

In an article are showed a base principles of picking type of LWD. In result of matching between physical bias of method and characteristics of geological section LWD matrix has been made, which can optimize selection of LWD tools. The influence of distance to bit on an effectivity of constructing a horizontal well was estimated. As examples benefits of using extended LWD assembly by comparing effective length of well have been shown.

Abstract

In this article describes the main results of applying amplitude spectra clustering for the quantitative evaluation of the prediction of the effective thickness of J11 layer of Yuzhno-Shinginskoye field. As a result the technique application, it was possible to perform a reasonable quantitative forecast of effective thicknesses and minimize risks in production drilling.

Abstract

The main factor for production wells successful placement is an accurate forecast of the geological characteristics of productive formations. Geological modelling on the basis of seismic data provides an actual areal distribution of the formation poroperm properties. Restoration of sedimentation environments, ablation and accumulation of precipitation features create a representation of the distribution of reservoir properties over the area. Dynamic parameters of the seismic wavefield are determined by the acoustic properties of rocks, thus dynamic parameters study provides presentation about the geology of objects. To analyze the variation of amplitude parameters over the laterals, a complex approach including detailed analysis of borehole and seismic data was applied. Fair presentation of prospective objects geological structure was the highlight for successful placement of horizontal wells in this field.

Abstract

Estimation of oil saturation transition zones is an important task when building a geological and hydrodynamic models of deposits. The main purpose of this article is to systematize the practical aspects of modeling of transition zones with respect to the significant determining factors which helps to adapt the resulting model to a specific oil reservoir.

DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF OIL FIELDS

Abstract

Well productivity directly influences on efficiency of oil and gas fields. Nowadays the diagnosing of permeability reduction in near wellbore zone is still a topical issue. In addition to the effects of scale deposition, an important role in permeability reduction is played by deformation of porous media during the reservoir pressure changing. Nevertheless, the complex of core tests does not directly determine the effect of compressibility on the permeability. In this paper all core test’s results were collected and analyzed to estimate the effect of well operation conditions on production index. Measures for reducing of risks associated with geomechanical processes in the near wellbore zone are proposed.

Abstract

The present work is devoted to the determination of reservoir parameters, in which development efficiency by horizontal wells with multistage hydrofracturing with waterflooding concede to the depletion mode. The main factor that reduce development efficiency with waterflooding is low reservoir hydroconductivity and as a consequence long response time to water injection.
In this paper, NPV is used as development effectiveness criteria. Authors consider the specific example – low-permeability reservoirs of the Priob field. Production indicators calculated by methods of numerical hydrodynamic modeling.

Abstract

The article contains the main provisions on the organization of geotechnical monitoring of permafrost. New methods of interpretation of long-term observations of stability of soils thermal state are offered. The concept of "heat map" in respect of construction of the temperature fields for large area objects is introduced. Some results of geotechnical monitoring at the Novoportovskoye oil and gas condensate field, including thermovision diagnostics of the devices of temperature stabilization of soils work capacity are presented.

Abstract

VNTP 3-85 (Departmental Norms of Process Design) has not been updated for its validity period, PUE (Rules for the Design and Operation of Electrical Installations) and VNTP 3-85 requirements for power supply reliability category of electric receivers were formulated on the basis of global economic interests. Under conditions of market relations, these requirements needs to correct, taking into account the optimal ratio of the electric power supply scheme reliability and its cost. This article identifies a single efficiency criterion for choosing the power supply reliability for producing wells, which is relevant in the conditions of market relations.

Abstract

The article is devoted to improvement of operational efficiency of oil and gas fields and examines one of the key directions of the operational management system (OMS). This direction is the management of reliability and integrity of equipment – implemented by the Deming cycle. A prerequisite of effective management of reliability and integrity is a correct assessment of the current condition of the asset through the risk assessment and registration costs and damages. The risk-based approach allows for comparable levels of direct costs for management of reliability and integrity, to improve the total economic result (direct costs + damage) while reducing the number of failures. In conclusion, the assessment of the current state of management of reliability and integrity in Upstream Division of GPN.
